Add Motivation To Your Personal Finances With Scripture Checks

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

Who says that spending money can’t be motivational and inspirational? Are you tired of your plain, boring bank checks? Did you often settle for dull checks in the past because you thought that they were too expensive or you couldn’t find a design that you were particularly interested in? Many people have felt this way.

Finances can be stressful and keeping track of your personal finances can be overwhelming and daunting-not to mention boring. With beautiful checks, however, at least you can have something nice to look at when you are distributing your funds! Scripture checks are motivational and attractive and will always be a reminder that there is something greater out there, which can be a blessing when you are feeling daunted.

Beautiful scripture checks can add intrigue, inspiration, and attractive images to your personal checks. They’re not as expensive as you might think, either. Plus, you will find that there is a wide assortment of designs available to choose from.

The original scripture checks, for instance, showcase popular Christian verses set amidst beautiful watercolor scenes. There are 4 rotating images and a matching leather checkbook cover, complete with a gorgeous sunset, can be purchased at an additional cost.

If you adore beautiful photography, you can also find scripture checks that have attractive images of majestic mountain peaks, fall foliage, handsome desert landscapes, and magnificent waterfalls. Each image comes with its own scripture and with 4 rotating images, every check will be different from the last one.

Tranquility checks also present scripture verses set in the middle of dramatic natural photographs of wooded scenes, sunsets, and gorgeous forests. You will be sure to feel stimulated when you view these checks, even if your finances leave you feeling worried.

Whether you prefer water color images, beautiful photographs, or even simple drawings you will find that there really is something for everyone. Most people will appreciate receiving a beautiful check with an inspirational image on it, too, because everyone needs a bit of motivation now and then, especially in these tough financial times.

A lot of the check series come with harmonizing accessories that can be acquired at an extra cost. These corresponding contact cards, address labels, and checkbook covers can help bind your checks together and offer even more good-looking images to look at.

Keep in mind that when you order your scripture checks online from a reputable website you can save as much as 50% off the cost of your checks. Not only that, but you will have a large selection of check series and designs to choose from as well so you won’t have to worry about settling for something that you don’t like.

It typically takes approximately 5 days to get your checks in the mail. This could be earlier than it took you to get them in the past from your local bank. In addition, you won’t have to make a special journey to your bank to get them, either.

How You Can Have A Quiet Time With God

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

For most Christians having a daily quiet time in Scripture and prayer is one of the most difficult aspects of our spiritual lives. Our enemy knows that this time each day is critical to our walk and our strength as believers, and he will do anything within his power to prevent us from getting this time. For this reason it is important that we make it a habit to have time with God each day.

The first step is to decide on a time of day that will work best for you, and block this time off for nothing but your quiet time with God. Choose a time that will present as few distractions as possible, and then make it happen. After all, we keep track of everything else in our lives and plan our other appointments and activities. Doesn’t time with God demand the same attention?

Find a quiet place where you will not be distracted. Get away from things that will interrupt your time with God and give Him your full attention. Maybe there is a room in your house where you can get away, or maybe it’s easier at your office before everyone else arrives.

The third and final step is to come up with a plan for what you will be doing with your quiet time. You may choose to study a specific book of the Bible (or group of books), read through the entire Bible, or follow along through a devotional book or workbook.

Looking at the next year in advance, plan how you will be dedicating your quiet time with God. Choose a path of study that you think will have a practical impact on your life. Ask for God’s leading as He shows you what to study and how to spend your time in Scripture.

Just like diet and exercise are critical to your physical health, time alone with God is critical to your spiritual and emotional health. Make that standing appointment for every day and do what ever you can to keep it each day.

Father, I know how important it is that I have time alone with you each day. Help me to put aside the distractions and to prioritize this time. Show me what you would have me to study and how I can apply it to my daily life.
